Facilities

The Hills School is located in a beautiful bushland setting, within The Baulkham Hills Garden Shire. Set on 7 acres the school has ample open space areas for students to participate in outside formal and informal learning programs.The school has recently been refurbished, with additional flexible learning spaces catering for different learning needs and activities, a state of the art library and technology centre with wireless internet access and a hydrotherapy pool.

At present the school has a purpose built hall for Creative and Performing Arts presentations, a communtiy supported canteen, a school gym including electronic equipment and a range of bikes and a bike track for students to learn basic road safety skills.

The school library is a focus point for the school. It is a place where students and staff have access to study and recreational resources in all teaching and learning activities and across all curriculum areas. Classes K-12 (Early Stage One to Stage 6) visit the library on a weekly basis to borrow books, CDs, DVDs and videos. Students in their weekly visit are involved in literacy and information skills activities.
